Usine de biogaz à Ste-Sophie-de-Lévrard
Operating exclusively from organic materials of agricultural origin, our biogas plant project in the county of Bécancour is being established in the region following a circular economy approach. All without any construction of gas pipelines!Close cooperation:
- Flexible logistics for
the transport of materials - Possibility of excess fertilizer materials for spreading
- Recipe adapted
to local producers
Circular and local economy:
- Installations designed on a human scale (no megacomplexes)
- A small radius of partner farms (limited travel)
Farmland at heart:
- Development of old contaminated land
- Exclusively agricultural project (no industrial inputs)
- Fertilizing materials that are full of nutrients
Presentation of the biogas plant project
The process from the farmers' perspective
Once collected from producers, agricultural organic residues will be treated at the biogas center. The organic matter will then be returned—full of nutrients—to the pits of the farmers’ choice for spreading or in clusters in the fields. Surplus fertilizer may also be given to them.
The biogas project roadmap
To date, BioÉnertek has secured renewable natural gas inputs, subsidies, and sales contracts. With our experience in agricultural biomethanation, we collaborate with our business partners and our network of to be able to inject renewable natural gas into the gas network via road transport.
The BioÉnertek difference
What sets us apart? The stability and homogeneity of the fertilizer material recipe: only agricultural inputs of a known nature are used to produce biogas. We do not add organic residues from municipalities or the agri-food industry.
